Don’t Make This Domain Name Mistake

Your brand will be promoted through content. The very first piece of copy you write will be your domain name. 

One of the biggest mistakes I see is choosing a domain name based on the negative condition that your clients are trying to escape. For instance, a relationship coach targets clients who are bored and lonely. You might think “boredandlonely.com” would be a great domain name for this coach. A better domain name would focus on the desired outcome, omitting the word “lonely” altogether… something like “HappilyTogether.com”

  A health site might call itself “TooTiredToMove.” But a more powerful name would be “HaltFatigueWithoutDrugs.” Even better: “MoreEnergyNaturally.”
